Pikmin and the Wiimote are a match made in heaven.  There is so much more you could do with that franchise with the pointer controls.  Full campaign co-op would be a blast.  It's one of the few games my wife will play, along with DKC Returns.  I think the puzzles could be really clever.  Introduce a couple new types of pikmin, some new worlds along with co-op (off and online) and I'm in.

Also, does anyone else want to see what Retro could do with a competitive online shooter?  A new IP from them is really what I want.  They've knocked every project Nintendo has given them out of the park imo.  Let them stretch their creative muscles and go to work.  I think they have great artists that could create a great looking and smooth controlling fps.  Prime 3's advanced control scheme just feels right.  For some reason it feels smoother than a lot of the good fps's for the Wii, even with their more customizable options.  They could push the Wii graphically as much as anyone else.  DKC Returns art and animation is a thing of beauty in motion.

The last gasp comes in the form of the Vitality Sensor, and that is the sort of "see to believe" thing they would be talking about. Possibly that other new IP EAD hinted at (though that could very well be their vitality sensor game)

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Nintendo released Wii Remote Plus. Why would they release that for one game. I think Motion Plus might have a big impact on their software for 2011. Starfox Wii would be amazing.

I think a new IP is due soon

I'm fine with F-Zero GX and Wave Rece Blue Storm, thank you very much. I'll happily exchange updated versions of those games (what could they do - online? Balance board support for Wave Race?) for PAL release of Xenoblade and Last Story.

*evil looks*

I live in hope of F-Zero Wii:

30 player online, track editor, return of the Death Race and a load of new tracks.

Vitality Sensor was a bluff, investors wanted to see what Nintendo was working on and Iwata came with a prototype that may very well be part of the next Wii.

I like business news because theres MUCH LESS fanboyism and negativity, and its also amusing to see how little the average the investor knows about Nintendo (having said that though, WP > DK was a pretty big error of judgement i think).

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.
