Mass Effect 2 DLC free on PSN until Feb. 23

Two pieces of downloadable content for BioWare's upcoming Mass Effect 2 will be offered for free on the PlayStation Network, EA confirmed in a tweet.

Previously pre-order bonuses for those who ordered the Xbox 360 or PC versions of Mass Effect 2 at GameStop, the Terminus Armor and Blackstorm Heavy Weapon will be available for download on the PlayStation Store until the content expires on February 23 (or, perhaps they'll simply start charging a nominal fee for it). Either way, Mass Effect 2 is a phenomenal game, so you should snag the content at the oh-so-affordable price-tag of $0 in case you ever decide to pick it up.

Mass Effect 2 is flying out to store shelves on Tuesday, January 18.

Nice. I never did get that armor on the X360 version. That makes me jealous that PSN users get it free. *sigh* Ah well...man i really wanted that armor looking back.

I got all of them free on XBL. When ME2 first released MS had all of that DLC available for free on the XBL Marketplace. (they fixed the error shortly after that though) I got all of it, though.

One bad thing is that these armors cover your face (there's no option to remove the helmet) and muffle your voice (since you're talking while wearing a helmet) when you wear them, which can make cutscenes less than great and you can't tweak how they look like you can with the normal armor in the game.
