I was wondering what were the long single-player games this generation for home consoles excluding hand-held consoles. Basically, I just want to count games with a single-player campaign that lasts longer than 40 hours.
Just as an example, I've probably played more than 300 hours of Smash Bros. But since it's single player campaign lasts only around 10 hours, I wouldn't count it. Also, please don't count the time needed to get achievements as that is not part of a campaign. Same thing goes for smash bros as I still don't have all achievements for it, but single player is still 10 hours long. Also, don't count multiple play through the game. For example, I've finished NSMBWii twice and one of them was with 5 stars (once with my brother and another with my girlfriend). But I think I only got more than 40 hours by adding both times I played it. No sports or racing games also guys.
I'll start things off with my list. Most of the games are for the Wii as that is the only home console I have.
