Engadget posted a handful of new pictures of the so called PSP phone. Funny thing is that the phone hasn’t been officially confirmed yet either by Sony or by Sony Ericsson. Still we are seeing handful of pictures, mockups and even details of it finding its way to the Internet.

With the CES (Consumer Electronics Show) 2011 starting on January of 6th, I’m guessing Sony will finally announce the PSP phone. Actually even the name is not confirmed yet, everyone’s just referring to it as the PSP phone. According to Engadget the device, codenamed Zeus, will be called the Sony Ericsson Z1 when it hits the market.

It looks pretty cool. Way better than the older models where there was a fugly S in the middle.

i only wait for confirmation that this will actually play proper PSP games and i will be getting it.

i love Xperia phones, always wanted one. i hope it's not too expensive, something between x10 and x8?

It looks really nice, just hope it won't be really expensive.

People will be dissapointed. This will just be a Phone which plays PSP games, not the successor of the PSP.

I distinctly see 2 "analogue sticks"

Who knows what the second one will be used for. It could be just for the menu or something. I'd rather wait for the real confirmation before getting my hopes up too much. Sony has a habit of dissapointing me when I get my hopes up. That's why I have my own slogan: Be prepared for the worst, and hope for the best.
