@Jarrod in Capcom's defense, they were working on RE5 for a while, IMO I dont think it would have been wise to stop production of that and then have to essentially start over (using a diff. engine for Wii). They could have put a different team on a Wii game for RE, but how well would that have turned out??? I do agree on not having another rail shooter, but I blame all those people who bought it, companies are going to make what people buy. But I love rail shooters, I dont think theres enough personally. Im still waiting for a console follow up to Point Blank(f***ing Namco). As for SF4 that game was being worked on exclusively for HDs, I know your going to say "but the Ipod" I played that version, it sucks, its nothing for the Iphone to brag about. It wasnt even half assed, thats probably what they would have done with the Wii version. IMHO id rather a game NOT come to WII than have it done really poorly, but hey there is SSF4 for 3DS.

Well, I don't think Capcom should've stopped working on RE5 either... the game was a HUGE hit for them. I do think though that whatever resources got poured into DSC would've been better served going to a full RE game for Wii. Even if it was just a conversion of RE5, it still probably would've done better than what DSC did.
As for SF4, that one's really excuseless. Capcom has a long history of downporting their fighters, even when it negatively impacted gameplay (like all the Marvel/Vs fighters on PS1), and gameplay wise SF4 could've been done 100% as is on Wii. The game looks fantastic on 3DS, and even with fewer shader functions, I'm sure it could've looked just as good as Wii... money left on the table imo.
But really, I'm more a proponent of Capcom porting all their fighters to as many systems as possible. Stuff like DarkStalkers Chronicle and SFA3 should've been on DS, SF4/SSF4 should've been on Wii/PSP, TVC/UAS should've been on PSP/HD, MVC3 should be also headed to 3DS/PSP/Wii, etc, etc.
I also think a "two pack" of REUC and REDSC for PS3/move would be a good release. The games already look better than Namco's PS3 gun games, and it's not like Move is really getting anything else notable in the genre. Also, I find it kinda funny that DS got the only Point Blank this gen. If any game seemed like a natural fit for Wii, especially form a 3rd party perspective, you'd think it was a cartoony railgunner loaded with minigames like Point Blank. :/
