Forums - Gaming Discussion - What Gamecube and N64 games would you like to see on the Wii in some form?

Unless a game can really benefit from the Wiimote, no real need to port them.

I'm honestly surprised there aren't more GC era collections, considering they run on the same exact hardware.  Imagine how much Sega could bank by doing a PSO Collection, Sonic Adventure Collection, Super Monkey Ball Collection, etc.

I think Ubisoft could do pretty well too actually (Rayman, POP, Splinter Cell). It'd be almost no work to recompile the games on Wii (and the improved hardware could lead to things like more stable framerates), just add new control options and viola; a ton of new budget collections to sell to the casuals at Wal-mart.

Nothing really.

The difference between the GC and the Wii is not big enough to warrant a port I think.

PUt Castlevania 64 and Legacy of Darkness on the Virtual Console.

Yes, I want to play these games again, shut up.

Yes, I know Legacy of Darkness has Castlevania 64 in its entirety, but its lacking the track "Opposing Bloodlines" as an opener, shut up.

I liked LoD.  It's more "Castlevania" than LoS at least.

LoS would be a badly off-topic discussion.

I also enjoy Legacy of Darkness quite a lot. It was one of my favorite N64 games if only for the atmosphere and the music. Nobody can take away from that game's soundtrack.

StarFox Adventures.

I would love a new play control Super Mario Sunshine and Luigi's Mansion... And Donkey Kong 64 on the VC... But thats me

Luigis Mansion is the only one I think the Wii would really add to.

mario f***ing Tennis or Golf im shocked that Ninty hasnt done one of these already. WTF??? get with it and if Sony beats you to the punch with a MOVE version of Hots shots golf there getting my money instead and no Sports Mix is not a substitute. SE does not equal Camelot

Mario Party 5 would be ace. No fannying about with wiimote controls, just show the world how good a decent party game can be.

And F-Zero GX - not bandwagoning, it is awesome still.

Still think that the GC library >>>>>>>>>>>> Wii library

Wii plays GCN games. No need for GameCube ports.

As for VC: Road Rash 64, Donkey Kong 64, Star Wars Rogue Squadron, SW Episode 1 Racer
