I don't see how they will survive through this year without a redesign, they've bundled their way out of existance and it barely made an impact. I don't think dropping the price is gonna help too much either.

Barely made any impact? Surely having the second/third best December month any home console has ever had after dropping to record lows is some impact.

Besides, Nintendo can cut the price so low that it'll have to help, xD.

I don't think they want to do that. And besides why not release a new version of the Wii this year? Let them DSi it.

Zelda / $150 and the ongoing explosion of the dance genre should be enough for 2011. Everything else is almost filler honestly.

Not necessary. Nintendo, should just drop the Wii to $149.99-179.99, package the Wii with 1000 pts for games and add Other M to the black Wii and PunchOut on the White one (along with WS and WSR). and we'll see demand skyrocket out of the planet again.   It beffudles me how well the Wii is selling despite the fact they have the 4GB 360 for the same price.  Nintendo really should do this bundle or drop the price to keep demand crazy high the whole year.

Other M? Punch Out? Are you so sure? They should be bundling with the more popular games on Wii, shouldn't they? Wii users also generally tend not to use online so that may not actually make much of a difference (though 1000 points bundle would actually give them some incentive).

I'm willing to bet that Wii would have done 4m (still holding on to the ray of hope that it did anyway) in US this December had it had the same WFP/MKW bundles that Europe did.

Hell why doesnt Nintendo just sell the Wii for $150 with the entire Nintendo library or maybe Nintendo wants to sell software. Week after week Nintendo gives away about 20-25% of the software VGC reports as sold.

Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.

Woooooooooooop, record breakers!!!

If no ones want the game solo why would they actually bundle it? It would result in a LOT of used copies.

Above: still the best game of the year.

Oh, not you with this again. Bundling is an strategy to push users to buy the console. And it's not like every game that has a bundle doesn't sell alone for the matter.

Not talking about a part time bundle. People are suggesting that Nintendo add a 3rd game to the bundle and reduce price by $50.  The further you get in the gen the more people who purchase a console and dont purchase much additional software so bundling 3 games with the console is a console that wont have many titles purchased for.
