Forums - Gaming Discussion - Your most emotional gaming moments (happy or sad) *spoilers*

Today I just felt like replaying Valkyria Chronicles, and I was teary eyed again when *spoilers* Isara was shot, and Rosie sang at her burial.. It was such a great and horrible moment all at the same time..

I loved the fact that Rosie hated Darcsens with a passion prior to that incident, and it all made her realize that she was wrong, but it was too late and she was dead and she couldn't apologize anymore.. It's like real life yknow? When we finally want to apologize and admit our mistakes, it's generally too late..

Anyway, what're your most emotional gaming moments? Can be happy or sad.

GTA vice city when you have to take over the mansion and your supposed freind turns on you. The whole setting of the game period. Nothing has made me so emotionally vested in a game since.

I'm sure i'm forgetting a game, but right now the three most emotional moments i've experienced came from Halo 2, FFX and Kingdom Hearts 2.

!!!!!SPOILERS!!!!

-In Halo 2 I was pretty angry about the cliff hanger ending. I was really excited for the next mission and then the game just ended so abruptly. I almost could not believe it. I wanted to finish the fight. Too bad Halo 3 didn't nearly live up to my expectations.

-In FFX i was just so sad when Tidus dissappeared. I really wanted him a Yuna to get together. Why can't a game have a happy ending?

-In Kingdom Hearts 2 I can't really pinpoint one key moment which made me feel the most emotional. The whole game just really brought me in and I love the way the story is told. I was weirdly very connected to the characters.I felt especially sad when Sora unintentially teared because of Roxas's emotions.

Its sad because I don't feel that I can be as immersed into a game as I used to be able to. I guess its because I've gotten older, but I really miss those days.

For marking spoilers.

Anyway.

The ending of ICO is very sad.

End of RDR *Cries*

I play PC and PS3. The best of both worlds.

The end of Shenmue 2.  I still cry when I think about it.

The sadness of Fragile Dreams caught me right in the beginning. I also connected with Monkey and Trix in Enslaved, which is the best acted videogame I ever played (several steps above the second place). Besides those, I don't remember any other deeper emotional connection with any other game.

The last boss battle of infamous. When Kessler is telling Cole about his parent and his pathetic life. And then, you find out. Man, i'm about to play it again lol.
