How can they have a shortage. No one is buying the thing ans second more Wii's were sold altogether. So I do not know what your talking about?

Yes, people are buying the PSP.  They are just buying a lot less games for it for some strange reason.  I've been looking at the PSP's game's list and it has some good games out for it.  If you liked the PS2, the PSP has many of the same types of games, which should be a good thing.  I don't understand what's hurting game sales so much.  No one was discussing Wii sales in here so please stay on topic!

I've been contemplating asking for one for Christmas... the battery life thing kinda scares me though.

If people want to play games like they do on their PS2 they will play their PS2... People like simple easy to play games on handhelds. Brain Training, NSMB, Nintendogs, Pokemon, Mario Kart.. all of these are good pick up and play games that are killer App level.

psn- tokila

add me, the more the merrier.

Here in birmingham we seem to have thousands of them

how much longer is the daxter pack available for?

I bought a PS2 thinking I'd love it... it turned into more of a hassle then anything.  Those memory cards were made extremely crappy, I have like 5 of them and never know when one is going to die and they always die when I'm near the end of a game (all Sony brand) plus the size of the cards was WAY too small.  What a pain.  If the memory card option is much better on a PSP then I'd rather play PS2 esq games on it due to the bad quality of the PS2 hardware.

Prepare for termination! It is the only logical thing to do, for I am only loyal to Megatron.

Ugh! Don't remind me of the memory card issue... i never got to finish Rogue Galaxy or Persona :'(

The core and daxter packs are pretty hard to find, but the star wars pack is what you mostly see.

Since the redesign, I have never seen a piano black.

And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."

The Gamestop at the mall has three Daxter packs.

Hmmm I contrdict your theory , clearly . At this point I play a game on my PSP rather than play one on my PS2 , simply because I find it to be much more comfortbale ... even if the game has longer load times :)
