It's not trolling. He maid a point, I said that the point doesn't apply to me and gave my opinion on the matter. My dislike of a product doesn't make me a troll against that certain product. I also mentioned that I dislike motion controls in general and I'm assuming your referring to my opinion on Kinect as trolling, but really, I'm just trolling motion controls in general because they suck. 

What you did with an immature attempt at trolling, you've gotta put more emphasize on the 'LOL', maybe added about eight more and bold them.

It's trolling whether you meant it to be or not. If I made a post stating that the PS3 is "a piece of shit" like you did to Kinect I would be accused of trolling and probably handed a 3 day ban.

 


If I think it is, then it obviously is to me. I specifically said 'I' and if you got banned for saying the same thing about Move, then it'd be wrong. This thread is in direct relation to my post, if this thread had been about Halo: Reach and I came in and made that statement, then that would be trolling.

Your either very sensitive or you have a weird grasp on what trolling is.



Bet with Conegamer and AussieGecko that the PS3 will have more exclusives in 2011 than the Wii or 360... or something.

Agreed.  Maybe I'm just getting old or I'm not as drunk as I used to be but the whole PS3 vs 360 thing is getting exhausting.  It's like comparing a sniper rifle to a machine gun.  Both have disinct advantages but both camps want their weapon of choice to be best in every single category.  Some battles just aren't worth fighting.

And the Wii rules them all.

The wii is the handgun. While it might not be as powerful as the other two, it's less expensive and anybody can easily learn to use it. Also, it's nice backup when you have a more powerful weapon.

I think this happened because a lot of people were hungry for something a little new, and advertizing kicked in really fast. In Americas, Kinect's 8 weeks has already outsold eyetoy's American lifetime sales.

Im confused, are you saying the 360 has a smaller fanbase than the PS3?

Aside from this thread, i think VGChartz has definitely gone softer than before.  Is it possible that they need these flamebaits threads to bring in more/continuing viewers to help keep the site going?

I could help and I would be a good moderator, because I have a lot of experience with warnings and bans. Plus, I haven't been banned since a day now.

I would revoke some members right to making threads as we have too many crappy ones while the good ones are ignored. Nowadays, every threads seems to be about

1. Wii fans bumping old threads to brag

2. 360 that feel the need to keep telling us how Kinect is successful

3. PS3 fans telling how Sony have the best games in 2011 in December 2010.

Everyone seems to be trying to piss each other like some war, and without any humor. I am sick of it.

A single copy thread isn't too bad, I'll start locking them if they turn into one of those idiotic popular forum trends but just one is fine.  It's on the border of flamebait but the GT5 thread was as well and I decided it was just on this side of acceptable and left it. 

You have to make a balance between stopping stealth trolling and letting forum goers discuss what they want to, I might lean towards the latter but I don't think this thread is too terrible.
