PS3 - Not even going to bother until end of fiscal year when Sony gives an estimate total for the next year. If they say 12M or around there then there`s no price cut, if it`s 15M or higher, then a possibly price cut would be on the way.

That is why I want you to predict now to see who was the closest without knowing whats up ahead.

Wii: 17-19 million (depending on the success of Vitality Sensor and potential price drop)

360: 15 million

PS3: 14 million

xD, are a lot of you guys just overshooting the Wii so that you can pretend people had high expectations at year end or something?

Anyway, here goes:

Wii - 18,777,227 (slower decline on support throughout the year (I actually expect 16.5m, but, well...))

3DS - 18m (sales held back by supply issues)

DS - 16m (hard hit from 3DS -- barely afloat off Pokemon BW)

360 - 14m (huge gains in H1 mostly offset by weakening momentum in H2)

PS3 - 12m (decent releases unable to offset full year of Slim, Move and GT5)

PSP2 - 11m (massive holiday release, outselling 3DS in the period, followed by an unprecedented drop last week of year)

PSP - 5m (DDDDDDOOOOOOMMMMMMMMEEEEEEEEDDDDDDD!!!!!!!!)

PS2 - 2.5m (final year on market - developing market momentum consumed mostly by PS3)

Well my way i eat less crow if i am wrong  lol   But if i would actually at this point guess, i would say 13M for PS3.

Price cut is 50/50 i think. Just going by past years trends, price cut in 07,09 and 11?  we'll see.

I would like to ask, why are all you guys putting the PS3 so high? Am I missing something here? It seems to have next to nothing pushing hardware next year.
