Persona Team Director: "Next Year, We Will Be Able To Announce New Titles"

Katsura Hashino, leader of the Persona team and director of Catherine, posted atantalizing comment in his latest blog. "Next year, we will be able to announce various titles, I think."

Right now, the only project project the team unveiled is Catherine, but with plans to hire more staff things are brewing in their office. Hashino thanked fans for giving their original title, Catherine, such a warm reception and said he hopes people will anticipate future projects from the "P team."

My guess is they'll announce Persona 5 for 360/PS3 (using the Catherine engine), Persona 2: Eternal Punishment for PSP (using the P2is engine) and Persona 4 Portable for PSP (using the P3P engine).  I know Atlus announced a 3DS Persona game, but honestly I don't see that panning out anytime soon (though 3DS will definitely get Devil Survivor 2, Etrian Odyssey IV and I could also see a "SMT3D: Nocturne" port soonish).

What's everyone expecting?

P4P, 3DS. P5, PS3.

They announced Persona for 3DS, and I want it there. Nao.

Truth be told I wouldn't mind Persona 5 on non HD platform: PSP2, 3DS or Wii. 

If 3DS gets a Persona, I think it might end up getting a new non-numbered spinoff (like DS got SMT Strange Journey).  I don't see Atlus stopping the PSP ports in favor of 3DS either, they'll finish out those there.

What I can see though is 3DS getting other SMT ports.  Nocturne, DDS1-2, the Devil Survivors... they'd all make great 3DS releases.

I beg you atlus announce persona 5.

Persona 5 doesn't have to be HD. The art style for Persona games doesn't need graphics intensive consoles, Wii or 3DS would do fine.

please be a Persona 5!!! hopefully on a system I own.

As long as I have my Persona 5 on my PS3 I'll be very happy. I don't mind it being multiplatform, though.

I don't think the 360 version would generate much sales but since they already have the engine...
