Anyone else appalled to see Alan Wake with such high pirated figures? Higher than the sales we track on here..

Disconnect and self destruct, one bullet a time.

I can honestly say that some of the titles that make the list are surprising ...

It doesn't surprise me that critically acclaimed games with massive marketing campaigns and strong sales are pirated at a high level, but games that are not nearly as high quality or popular (Red Steel 2 for example) is a bit of a surprise

4) Kirby's Epic Yarn (880,000)

5) Red Steel 2 (850,000)

Oh dear............. Nintendo, you really have to do something about piracy..... this is nuts!!

Those Mafia 2 numbers are most suprising in my opinion. These numbers just go to show piracy is not overblown and that most pirates don't only pirate the games their "semi interested in and wouldn't have bought anyway" as many people seem to claim in other topics about piracy

Alan Wake sold 850 k... Sad...

While the numbers are high, I don't think that the vast majority of these downloaded copies represents a lost sale; or even a game that was ever actually played. At the same time, one of the issues that might drive Nintendo to release a new console is to deal with piracy; while the loss of 5,000 to 50,000 potential sales isn't that major on a single title when added up over hundreds of titles released in a year it becomes a massive loss of revenue.

3 million copies of ME2 on PC, over 1 million copies of Alan Wake on 360. looks like both games both pirated more than they sold, that's just sad

these numbers make me sad

OMG OMG OMG with these pirated copies every game could've sold millions more.... lol!

People still use bittorent? eewww.. ;)
