Well, I'm about 3 hours into Super Paper Mario.  I'm pretty impressed.  The gameplay is great.  Switching from 2D to 3D is much more interesting that I had anticipated it would be.  At the same time the rpg elements still work.  It is interesting talking to people about the game who pay less attention to videogames.  Some instantly love it, others don't see the point of switching.  I can't help but think that limits the potential of the game in the West...In Japan, I'm begginning to think it could have long legs since it is so easy to pick up and play, and lots of the elements draw on heavy doses of nostalgia...

I'm looking forward to it when I get it.

I don't know if it's because of this game, but Nintendo's stock is going up for some reason. It's frustrating because I was hoping for a pull back to get more shares. God damn I'm getting greedy.

Im currently in world 4 (I've played for 8 1/2 hours so yeah..) and so far the game is great.

I want a sequel already lol.

Game of the Century!  Well, maybe not, but damn funny and enjoyable all the same.  We need more games that are just plain fun and downright funny. ^_^

Yeah I'm with all on that one, it's the kind of game that I really enjoy to pick up and play, and want to play all the time because of it... not something that I enjoy when I force myself to play it... really good :)

One of my favourite parts of the game so far is within the Mansion where you end up owing 1million rupees and have to earn it back by working.

I thought this was awesome, I cheated a bit and taped the wii remote so that mario was running forward on the treadmill section and left it over night, but then I found that I could steal the money from the safe, and i'd only earned like 200,000 from running.  Thought the whole setup of this place was completely awesome... especially the overly funny game show at the end haha.

I also love the nostalgic setup of some of the areas, many of them you can instantly recognise from the old mario games but in normal fashion.

While I love this game so much (you have to not consider it a 2d Mario platformer) it just leaves me beggggggging for a 'NEW Super Mario World' type game.  Why does the main console Mario game HAVE to be 3D... give me a 2D Mario World PLEASE Nintendo I BEG OF YOU, this game would be SO HUGE too!!!!!!!!

The main reason would be the DS. They would only do one on the Wii that could never be done on the DS. The DS version would almost certainly sell more - maybe they will port NSMB to the Wii.

Speaking of 2D games... I want a 2D Metroid as well (DS or Wii - don't care!). PLEASE!!!
