So people pretty much shouldn't post bad news, because it might it hurt the feelings of some over (enter console) indulged fans.

This site is getting bloody pathetic, everyone is getting so damn defensive over nothing and it was a pretty calm thread until the 360 Defence Force (Koweniki) came rushing in, while his merry men followed soon after.

People have got to learn how to have reasonable discussions about the topic at hand, instead of posting stupid comments that contribute nothing to the topic.

I'll contribute to the discussion. Microsoft better not have a shitty year in 2011, otherwise I'm chucking my 360 at grandmas house so the cousins can have something to muck around with. I've been extremely satisfied with their output this year, hopefully I can say the same at the end of the next year.

It feels strange being called 360 Defence Force when I haven't ever played any game on any X360.

Well to be fair, I see what angle Kowen is coming from, it was pretty much a thread regarding the 2011 line up for X360 started by a PS3 owner, one could take this as mocking of the upcoming line up of "kinect orientated".. Well it's hard to put it down to words, but by posting this you're efficiently mocking the 360 for not having sufficient core titles such as gears etc. I don't personally care but some people may take it the wrong way.

Having an option for alternative controls instead of having to have 100% kinect compatibility would be nice, and as someone had pointed out an addition of Kinect to older games would be nice, I think there is a game that got a kinect patch recently.. Def jam superstar or w/e. But then again having a controller on games like Kinect sports or Dance Central is a horrid idea lol, so it all comes down to different titles

Yeah, now if only people would say the same thing when negative news is posted about Sony (this isn't aimed at Kowen, by the way)...

This happens with every thread that contains negative news. People are easliy riled up, they make some stupid comments and then the thread turns into a shitstorm. The shitstorm wouldn't matter if it was actually about the topic at hand, but they rarely are. 

So what have we learned today?

#1.) If you post anything negative it makes you a hater. Negative news should always be ignored.

#2.) If you don't like Kinect it makes you a hater who doesn't own a 360. All 360 owners love Kinect.
