Forums - Sales Discussion - Sony: over 1mil PS3s solid in Benelux

Population of Benelux ~ population of Aussie NZ.

1 million in Benelux for PS3 should have happened before 1 million in Aussie NZ, given the ANZAC territory is stronger for 360 than Benelux, and Wii has about the same level of market support. Overall console sales in Benelux is perhaps a bit on the low side if one compares with Aussie NZ, countries having a similar (and in NZ's case lower) level of affluence, but with relatively more expensive consoles. (Console price in NZ/Aussie converted to Euro > price of same console in Europe).

^That is probably because of the langauage barrier...Games don't get easy translated to Dutch (except Sony's own games)...

I'm going to suppose PC is still quite strong in the Benelux

It's all Europe to me.

if you would have been in different european countries you wouldnt think so. europeans are so different in everything (what they eat, drink, architecture, how they look etc.) it's like i would say people from canada, mexico, usa, argentina and brazil are all americans. sure they are but you know what i mean

thats what i dont understand if europeans talk about asia. they should know that you cant put all asian countries together because they know how different europe is but they still do it.

we have the eu but that doesnt change the fact that europeans are very different from country to country and i love that because its so great for travels.
