There is  also one level in particular (and people who have played it will know) that is utterly horrible and out of place. You just float around with your suit's abilities rather useless.


Oh my god... Finally another one! This post pretty much sums up my feelings about the game. On top of this there are several other issues as well that killed it for me.

Incredibly awesome. It might seem boring the first 20 minutes you play it (It was boring for me too when I first played it at my brother's house), but when you know what you're doing it's a helluva game.

i find crysis to be a unique series, mainly beause of the weapons and the feel of the game.

It's a pretty a good game. picking off your enemies one-by-one predator style never gets old!

I found it to be very fun until the aliens showed up. It's all downhill from there but I still recommed it if you found it cheap and have a capable PC.

My impressions are pretty much the opposite.

I think it is  a good thing that you are not completely overpowered all the time and can't go about without a care. 

Needs to be played on higher difficulty to fully appreciate IMO. Strategy gets involved. 

And I like floating around (although that part was not challenging enough). Good game. Could have been better.

It's a good FPS. I played at max specs on my PC. I would say it is better than any CoD game and probably better than most Halos as well (except 3, and excluding ODST/Reach since I have yet to play those).

Crysis was a great game. It was always fun but i played through it in only one evening. Means the game is the shortest shooter i've ever played. Shorter than a CoD game if i remember right. The graphics weren't that great as i thought but it was more fun than i expected. It's cheap so it's a no-brainer. Just pick it up aslong u own a good machine.

 

But if you want to play an even better game then try F.E.A.R the original one, or the king of all shooters λ²

 I thought λ was better. Alien worlds for the win. And speaking of Alien, AvP was one hell of a FP Alien simulator.

OT: How did you finish it that fast? Not using stealth I presume. Did you play it on easier settings?
