For years, the last game I'd play in any given year was Super Metroid.  It would also be the first game I'd play in the following year.  It's a stupid tradition but I always did it.  I kinda got away from it but I think I'm going to start it again.  I doubt it's going to be Super Metroid, though.  I think I'm going to go online and play some Super Street Fighter 4 on December 31.  That's the game that best sums up my year, I guess.  Lots of fun online memories with that one.  As for which game will be first in 2011, I don't know. I'm leaning towards Valkyria Chronicles on the PS3, though. 

So what game would you you like to start/end the year with?  Why?

I suppose my last game of 2010 will be NHM 2, I love that game so much and have an itch to play it again.

Next year will mark the release my most anticipated sequel of all times "The 3rd Birthday"

So I'll be ending the year with  Parasite Eve  (Very fitting right?)

Don't know what I'll start the year with........... maybe start PE2.

Xenogears

Had a crappy year, so I will end it with Saw. Yes, that Saw I actually enjoyed it so far. I will probably start my next year with Mirrors Edge. man I love that game

I probably start 2011 with Mass Effect 2, maybe a little of Tales of Graces  (Demo) to end this year.

I won't be able to finish and start my year gaming. That's just not possible in my country and for our tradition, when you just sit, eat and drink till very late (02:00 am a conservative average), but if I could I would finish and start my new year with Mass Effect 2.

Good question. Generally I play multiplayer with my brothers-for a few years it was Goldeneye on New Years Eve and Day, then it was Double Dash, then Wario Ware Smooth Moves. This year it might be Kinect Adventures, or Kart Wii.

I usually play Sonic & Knuckles once a year, but I've never really done anything for New Years.

I'll probably give Super Mario Galaxy 2 a go, I've been meaning to go back and play more.

As a kid it was always the game I got for X-mas that I played at the end of the year and at the beginning of the year ^^';.
