I totally agree with this review, though the voice acting might be some of worst I've ever heard at first lol, it was even laughable in the very beginning, overall it was a VERY enjoyable game, I LOVED the weapon customization and the characters totally grew on me, The combat was excellent and the story was pretty good. And you're right, i did notice that the voice acting improved with time AND that there wasn't enough cursing XD

Overall I give it an 8.5 too!

add some more cons lol: costume don't show up in battle - - some of them would have been hilarious :)

By the way, you shouldn't hold off beating the game for too long, there's actually plenty to do after the final boss, new secret minibosses and dungeons (and weapons with some really great "secret" abilities)

Sounds good, I havent have time (nor money) to get it but maybe I will buy it soon, thx for the review, I like Jrpgs a lot and I got excited about the game since it was first anounced... then all the bad reviews and monster hunter tri (I really need to stop playing it, I still have some other games to beat) stopped me from doing it...

good review though imma have to say that i felt that the voice acting never did improve especially nikos who has some of the worst ive ever heard. Though everything else is ps2 style awesome lol.

Eh, I watched various youtubes... it's not as bad as the worst on PS1 (like say Grandia), but the voice work is awful, and pretty easily among the worst this gen imo.  I really wish Ignition had just gone the Muramasa route and subbed only, or XSEED had won out. :/

i agree that its a very underrated wii game, when underrated =  forgotten. other than the cliche story and characters, shitty voice acting, and so so- translation, its a good buy. A solid 7.5 for me.
