Santas not real? WTF IS THE MEANING OF THIS!!!!

Also, all though the above are joking... we do have some young kids on here.

I've known 5 year olds to browse the web for videogame info.  Which isn't unreasonable for believing in santa.

My mom told me that Santa was just a FBI agent trying to infiltrate our brains.  We left cyanide laced cookies and a rigged shotgun for him.

WHAT?!?!

Santa isn't real?!?!

I was 7. A friend from the next street told me. I refused to believe him, and fled home in tears to my mum.

Don't get the point. of tellings kids about Santa.  Why would you lie to your kids and why on earth would you tell them the gifts you bought for them were from someone else?

I've always knew he wasn't real, I couldn't be fooled. According to my father, I asked my parents at 4 why there was santas in every mall. XD

I don't remember much of my childhood before I was 6 but at that age, when I got gifts, my family told me it was from them and I was thankful to them, not some imaginary bearded dude.

I know the point of it is so that xmas is somewhat magical, but isn't this just setting kids to be hurt? Won't they feel like they been betrayed and lied to by their own family... If you ask me it's quite harsh!

i was about 7. some kids had tried to convince me but i didnt beleive it. not until i snuck down one christmas night and saw my parents setting out the presents. that is when i truly believed it. as i recall, i wasnt that broken up about it. sure it took some of the magic out of christmas but oh well, not that big of a deal. specially since i still got a PS1 that year

Most kids just figure out that Santa isn't real and aren't bothered by it.
