Panty & Stocking

Are you a fan of wacky, over the top and surreal cartoons that throw in a few fart jokes and has a funny take on mature themes, while also having amazing animation? Then I'm pretty sure you'll love Panty & Stocking. It's an anime series that's been making the rounds as of lately and it's been attracting quite a few eyes, so I've decided to give it a go and explain to you why it's so special. It's wacky, the plot is pretty much non-existent until like the fifth episode and the quality of the humour can fluctuate from cheesy to hilarious, but what makes the show so interesting (besides the craziness) is that the animation is really impressive. The art style takes influences from more Western cartoons and a times it can look really cool, but it's the animation that shines, because it's so fast paced and detailed when it comes to expressions and action.

If your a little bit crazy and that's how you like your anime, then Panty & Stocking should be perfect for you. I'd also recommend sticking to it after watching the first episode, because it does get much better.

Bet with Conegamer and AussieGecko that the PS3 will have more exclusives in 2011 than the Wii or 360... or something.

I'd also like to ask that people support the studios that create these animes by actually paying for the content. Crunchyroll is the best site to watch most of  your favourite animes and it only takes a $6.95 a month and the money goes straight to our favourite such as Gainax, Studio Bones, Toie Animation and so on.

Here's the link: http://www.crunchyroll.com/

The site also offers free content, so if you don't want to pay, your still better off watching the videos on Crunchyroll so that they can at least make some money from advertising.

I'm also running out of mangas to read and shows to watch, so I'm up for any more recommendations.
