I really didn't like Red Dead Redemption much, I also found it boring. I picked up Just Cause 2 recently and imo it is a better open world game, and if your looking for action there is lots to be found!

So I played it last night for 45 minutes, and behold, the game froze while it was saving. So my auto-save file is corrupted, and I didn't manually save it after completing a mission, so it's partially my fault. Anyways, I don't feel like doing the mission again because you get to ride your horse for 5 minutes only to do a tedious task (like the rest of the missions), so I'm sending it back to Gamefly. GOTY my ass. Pinche juego de mierda.

I heard good things about JC2, but I guess I'll download the demo first.

SOunds like your still at the beginning based on what you have listed. It gets much better in my opinion down the road.

I have made it into Mexico and it is pretty much the same thing you are experiencing now.

I am considering selling it right this moment because I know by doing so I can grab a game to play after finishing Nier.

I buy Nier for $15 and I have already had a ton more fun with this 68 rated title than the 94 rated bore-fest that is RDR.

I've played it for a couple of hours and it just really boring. I find Rockstar games in general to get boring really fast. I'm thinking about doing what that  Euphoria guy did and just go out and buy Nier and maybe I'll trade in Red Dead Redemption. 

I'm also really happy that my mini reviews of bad games actually got someone to buy a game! I hope you enjoy The Saboteur, screen tearing aside, it's a much better game than Red Dead Redemption. 

I thought the 3rd act was the best. After you come back from Mexico and finally get on with chasing whatshisname. Then the 4th act has you herding cows again lol.

The 2nd act in Mexico has a lot of shooting action. A little too much for me, seems to want to be gears of war at a few points. Chest high walls aplenty.
