If Halo Ce gets remade add that in, the original is the highest rated FPS of all time. Can't go far wrong with that to work with.


Although Halo: CE is a quality game, I just don't see a remake, especially in the hands of another team, being crowned game of the year.

No they really aren't. Oblivion took home most of the GOTY awards in its year, Skyrim must fulfill its destiny by doing the same.

Stop spreading lies darth. Oblivion got swallowed by Gears and Twilight Princess in most relevant publications.

You people really are foolish. Look at the bigger perspective here at Uncharted 3. Look at the Success Uncharted 2 had, you sit here and say "a feeling of much of the same" but so? Seriously? I remember Uncharted 2 as being hailed very familiar but polished in such a standard and made so amazing that everyone loved it, because it was damn near perfection.

All naughty dog has to do it manage to improve Uncharted 3 over Uncharted 2 in even the slightest bit, they do that, and Uncharted 3 has the majority of the GOTY awards, no contest.

Why would we care about the VGA?

And how do you reconcile this argument with the fact that RDR, an early 2010 game, won GOTY on the VGAs?

Or the fact that Uncharted 2, an exclusive, won the majority of awards in 2009? Or Bioshock, an exclusive at the time and an early-in-the-year release, swept up in 2007?

Can't overlook Agent or LA Noire. Rockstar makes fantastic games so I'm expecting good things from both of these new IP's.
