Multiplayer had never had a negative effect on Baldurs Gate or NWN. None, Zero, Zilcho. They were all written and awarded excellent games for being single player experiences. The only thing that MP added was traveling with a friend who had no real control anyways. So instead of giving an opinion based on a limited amount of Bioware games. Go back to the hey days and try them out. These were still SP game story created. All people are doing is making the assumption that MP RPG are more like WoW. They are not. They are just SP games that allow a second player to kill the hordes of monsters with the main player. This is an area that if you didn't play these early games to have the experience that it has no effect of influence. Stop talking.
