If you really need a jrpg fix, you need more than a PS3 (well you can play PS1 jrpgs on it. Though a lot of PS1 jrpgs, the ones that aren't on PSN anyway, are pretty expensive to get your hands on now. You can always just download PS1 ISOs and play them on a PS1 emulator though if you want to play the PS1 jrpgs). Get a PSP or DS, either of those platforms has more jrpgs than the PS3, 360 and Wii combined and there is definite quality. The PS1 and PS2 had plenty but due to the steep costs of HD development, most of these PS1/PS2 jrpg developers shifted over to the PSP and DS.

For god's sake OP already said he has PSP and wants specifically PS3 jRPG.

He said on the first page "only PS3". From that I figured he didn't have a PSP. Geez you expect posters to read every single post in a 6 page thread?

For JRPG this gen: you got to have more than only a PS3.

The best JPRG I played this gen is Lost Odyssey. A true masterpiece. If I were you, I would buy a 360 today.
My second best is Blue Dragon.

Mistwalker are the best these days.
I'm thinking about getting a Wii only for The Last Story!

If you are looking for good RPGs, the only system that really seems to have good ones this generation is the DS. Most of what has been seen on other consoles has been mediocrity; and games that aren't true RPGs.

Note, I have never played a Mistwalker game though; so my opinion might change should I play one.
