Ok, there is a strong case for APB, so I can agree with that.  I didn't initially say it, because it wasn't really know by a lot of people.  FF 14 is more well know, and has been plagued with issues.  Maybe they will get fixed.  APB happened to take down the initial developers of Crackdown, and I believe this not only affected APB, but also Crackdown 2.  Crackdown 2 had bad issues the first didn't have at all.  If Real World was still around, maybe Crackdown 2 wouldn't of had problems.

We very likely can be looking at MMO's being the future home for bombs of the year, the way things are going.  Old Republic is pushing to be another one to join the bomb of the year category the way things are going.

I would say  Kane & Lynch 2 for both quality and sales.pretty bad game and horrible sales.Nier was a pretty big bomb in terms of sales as well,both from square enix(nier was a great game though).

As for bigger released,both Lost Planet 2 and Army of Two:the 40th weny way below the originals and for the publishers it was a massive bomb in there eyes.Neither one of them sold horribly,but compared to the originals they bombed...which is a shame because Lost Planet 2 was great and army of two was an improvement over the first

APB and FF14. Nothing else comes close

Not a total bomb for a game but among AAA titles, with big budgets, lot of expectation and hype with a big franchise:

Metroid Other M, it was expected to be a huge hit for the Wii this year, one of the most sold title of the year. We expected this to outsell the prime serie quite easily.

And it failed. It was a major flop in Europe. The game is sitting now at 600k with no legs. It is a huge disappointment for Nintendo expectations. It is hard to remember when an important game made by Nintendo sold that low. It was his bad quality which explain the bad sales for Other M.

Metroid OM.

Why are people saying Epic Mickey is a bomb? It is barely two weeks old! I can consider Just Dance a bomb too based on it's first two weeks (and a much hard than EM).

Epic Mickey is not a flop.

It will reach a million, it's a given, and it may reach 2 millions if everything goes right. It will prove again that third party can sell on Wii with the proper approach.

Other M is the flop. Epic Mickey will outsell it very easily and Kirby will outsell it as well.

If people don't even know what is APB is then, thats more like an atomic bomb, or even a hydrogen bomb, or a neutron bomb of a bomb.

the fact that people are still playing FFXIV spells good news.

FF XIV is not even out on the PS3 yet... I am still interested in this game... and I do not think I am the only one. But I must admit that I stayed away from reviews for the pc because I do not want to spoil it. FF XIII got harsh critics and it was the best Game on the PS3 for me.

APB sounds like a massive bomb but i haven't played it so i'll go with Red Steel 2 as it's not selling well even if it's at Ubisofts expectations.
