""And that was because no one didn't fight at north america. European was ruins after war,""

==> yep and Europe had to give back money to USA ...

gogogo Mummelmann, show us your power, answer to Famine

In all fairness, the US also wrote off huge lumps of that aide on top of helping parts of Europe rebuild.

In any case, saying anyone is "ungrateful" for crap that happened 60 years back or more is idiotic.

Seeing all you ungratful bastards pisses me off. If the USA did not enter the war Germany would of won in europe and Japan would of easily taken out Russia from the back.

In WW1 all admit the US dint do much other than show germany they no longer could win the former stale mate they had with France and UK.

In WW2 we supplied a crap load of stuff to UK even before we were in the war. If the US did not help almsot all of Germany forces would of been in Russia destryong them.

The US did not have to come help europe out but we did. We could of easily just tooken care of Japan and said screw europe let them figure it out but we dint. We sent American troops to your aid and thousands of them died for you ungrateful bastards.

Yes, ungreatfull bastards who take offense when the US waited a few years to send actual manpower to aid us. Gear is one thing, but it means shit if you have no one to strap it on, and that was largely the issue with the enormous fronts we're talking about here.

How greatfull is it to invade two major countries, bomb them to oblivion, and then expect us to come help clean up and fight off "rebels"? Yes, I've lost friends in both Afghanistan and Iraq!

Ok guys this is a video games sales site, consoles have nothing to do with wars. Keep consoles and your personal feeling's separate and you'll be a happy person.

It was bound to happen guys.  The japanese market is a setback from Microsoft.  Europe is also selling more PS3's since the 40GB release.

About France ,though ,you wouldnt be an independent country if they hadnt financed your little revolution and faced with their proffesional army that was in America the British army .Or do you think some colonnes just scared the hell out of the british colonial army ?Read your hystory books ,without France help both military and economic the States would have never had a chance of getting rid of UK .

No outsider financed the American Revolution; the U.S. faced great inflation and a recession for awhile after emerging the victor.

With the military, the French, as well as the Spanish, were reluctant to aid the colonies because during those times Britain was the best naval power in the world. It wasn't until things weren't really going Britain's way that the French offered help, and even then it was mostly so they could get back their trading posts that they lost to the British in Canada.

Nonetheless, the French did help the U.S. greatly when it came to naval battle, and they helped militias better prepared for military training, as did other volunteers from other countries such as Poland (Pulaski and Kosciusko). Let's not forget that the biggest group of immigrants that time, the Irish, also volunteered to fight for U.S. independence.

Despite that I've seen EB games clerks trying to talk people out of buying PS3s because of the lack of BC. lol

 Idiots.

@rukusa

Ive seen gamestop guys go to the person going to buy the ps3 say the ps3 is a worthless piece of $hit and you should buy an Xbox 360.

I saw that right in front of me, and because at the time I was 14, I was kicked out for nearly punching the living lights out of that gamestop clerk.

I think it's funny America has forgotten what France did for it 230 years ago when it saved it from the British.

Exactly.

Also one of the icons of America, The Statue of Liberty, was a gift from France.

We named everything French this and French that for ages. From food items to sex items.

Don't let me bring up the celebration of Mardi Gras.

And don't REALLY let me bring up the lesser-thought-of fact that the English language was shaped strongly by French words. The wayward basic hybrid of German and Latin called English influenced heavily by one of Latin's pidgin tongues, French.

Check every word I said and discover the inherent Frenchness of those words. Clues in the just preceding statement are "check" "discover" "inherent".
