And to those saying he's being set up. Do you have even a shred of evidence for this whatsoever?

Nope.  Just like you don't have evidence that he wasn't. How would any of us have any of that anyways to confirm either stance anyways.

It looks sketchy to me.  The timing is too convenient and motive is definitely there.

I wouldn't be so pissed that many people think this is a set-up though.

If anything, they don't seem to want him convicted - just his credibility ruined I would think if Kasz's conviction rate is accurate (not that a conviction couldn't be manipulated and guaranteed anyways).

How is his credibility ruined when practically everybody in this thread thinks it's a giant setup?

Or the fact that in general, people always believe the accused rapist.

You'd be more likely to ruin his reputation by releasing a story that he's a bad tipper at restruants.

Also, seriously... how do you prove that a conspiracy DOESN'T exist?

You keep misunderstanding everything I say!  Obviously WE don't see his credibility as being ruined, I'm sayin' that might be the purpose of this whole arrest.  Read closely, what I said there.

Seems you just want to argue with me and are just misconstruing my words for that purpose or something?  lol!

As for your last question, ask someone who believes beyond beyond the shadow of a doubt that this is whole thing is legit.

Prove to me that 9/11 wasn't a conspiracy.

Or hell....

Prove to me that it's not a conspiracy that Ruffles have ridges.

I believe it was.  Ask someone else who doesn't.

Okay.  Prove to me it's not a conspiracy that Ruffles have Ridges.

Or that Cherry Coke ISN'T secretly made by satanists to convince young people that satan is cool because cherries are red... and so is Satan.

That's really facetious, dude.  I'll pass and discuss the topic if you want to carry on.

Not really.  I'm trying to make a point here.  Generally being, you can't disprove a conspiracy theory, no matter how dumb the conspiracy theory is... because without even the slightest bit of proof... conspiracy theories rely soley on people WANTING there to be one.

There is no such thing as proof of a negative.  Saying there is no such thing as a conspiracy theory is like asking me to prove I don't own a golden statue of Oprah.

I can't show you a "not golden statue of Oprah".  I can explain why it'd be stupid for me to own one.  I could even parade you around my house, but if you still wanted to believe I own a gold statue of Oprah there is literally nothing I could do about it because you could just claim I was hiding my golden staute of oprah somewhere else.  I could take you to each and every single place you wanted to go, and it'd still prove nothing.

It's already been pointed out how this conspiracy theory would help NONE of the conspirators.  Yet you still want to believe in a conspiracy... how the hell is anyone supposed to prove it to you?

And I swear you better not be an atheist... because this is essentially the spaghetti monster arguement.

*gets popcorn and waits*

since both women worked for wikileaks, its more probable this whole charade is arranged by assange to make him a martyr.

Well that saves me some time.

You can find me on facebook as Markus Van Rijn, if you friend me just mention you're from VGchartz and who you are here.

The Paypal/Visa/Amazon/Mastercard thing disturbs me. The US government shouldn't be able to pressure private companies to stop doing legal business. But that's what's happened here. It's the government limiting the freedom of speech in a fairly appalling manner and I don't think US citizens should stand for it.

The rape thing is a different matter. The timing seems very suspicious I must say, but then again I don't know the full facts of the case and I imagine (or at least hope) they will come out in court.
