FREAKING SPLIT SCREEN CO OP. I mean sure the fact that you can play with your friends across the world now with online but what about co op on the same xbox? Dead rising 2 for example i love that game and want to play with friends on the same console but I cant i have to do it online. Why? thats just dumb. I hjope to god gears of war 3 can have 4 player spilt screen co op for the campaign but i doubt it.

Anyone else miss it?

What I want from a game.

Gameplay > Story > Content > Graphics

Visual Style > Graphics

Smooth Camera, Intuitive Controls

Friction! When everything feels right!

Yeah, it's what I hate about the so called "HD twins". They are so powerful but they can't render 4P splitscreen.

There are enough games with splitscreen co-op. Unfortunately Dead Rising 2 is not one of them, but still playable with system link (or online of course).

Tell me what system can render 4 player splitscreen in the campaign. None.

PC could, but there aren't any.

Split-screen multiplayer, in it's various forms, has been sadly neglected this generation.

If they would do that a game wouldn't look so pretty. I think developers are afraid people will call their games ugly. And maybe developers are afraid they sell less copies of a game when it has co-op in it...

Enslaved would have been a lot better with splitscreen co-op.

What happened to games like baldurs gate dark alliance and champions of norrath. They had excellent onscreen co-op, and were quite good as diablo style rpg's.

yep its sad

even gta San Andreas had split screen 2p co-op rampage

even tho they couldn't leave the screen without each other

Of Course That's Just My Opinion, I Could Be Wrong

Hah... I knew this would be the topic before I came in... and I gotta agree... local co-op is easily better than online, but sadly the latter is pravlent... doubters should play EDF 2017 on the PS2 (Global Defense Force) or 360.
