That's a tough one. They are both amazing trilogies, but I have to give the slight edge to LOTR, as I grew up watching those films and thus they have that nostalgia factor that the Star Wars saga does not have for me, which gives it the slight upper hand.

No competition here, the Lord of the Rings movies were genius.

I am honest here when I ask this; but is there some quality about the Starwars movies that I just completely missed? To me they all just seemed like B-movie acting, B-movie plot, and B-movie themes, but with high production values.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

I could not say it any better than Randal. Hell, Clerks 2 > All of LOTR.

And to be clear, I am a huge fan of the LOTR books and I love the Hobbit.
