Forums - Sony Discussion - Most annoying times when you've had save data erased/go corrupt?

I do not really care anymore because trophies track all my progress. My stuff has gotten deleted countless time. i just do it over again if i care about the game enough. Which is fun anyways.

And not the same thing but:  I dated a girl back in 97.  She had a son so I brought my PS1 and my case of games over so he could play while I made out with his mom.  The kid went from game to game.  He was in gaming heaven.  Then he just stopped, went outside, and started playing basketball.  When I got home, I tried to play my PS1.  The damn part where you sit the disc (a little black circle) fell out and rolled away.  The girl SWORE her son didn't break my PS1.

I hate to say it.. cause it's been 13 years and you may still have a relationship with her without this incident.. ;) but it f*cking happend all the time!! That frecking piece of plastic broke and broke all the time!!! And when it breaks it offset the balance and your cd's are scratched to hell!!! I went through 3 ps1's because of that untill I superglued that little m************ on it.. don't blame the kid.. blame Sony.. ( no sir that's not covered by warranty.. you shouldn't pull the CDs out that hard... blabla)

^^^^THAT'S THE PIECE!!  Sony fucked up my relationship!!

I remeber this happening when playing Ar Tonelico II...was about 20 hours in...was very pissed off...

I was playing Final Fantasy IX on the PS2 and I was near the end when the whole memory card got corrupted! I had my saves of Gran Turismo 2 on that card too, so I was very pissed off.

After that, every time I wanted to play a PS game, I did it with the 1, not the 2 and it didn't happen again.

Please excuse my bad English.
