Wow,amazing, sensational, stupendous,outstanding...or not. I see some saying it's better than nothing but the rewards are so small they're close to useless, u could get all those bonuses and u still can't even buy a decent DLC.

10 points per month? Great. In a year and 3 months I'll be able to buy a hat for my avatar.

This is an embarrasment. Microsoft, you just earned a negative achievement.

Are you seriously bitching about something that will only benefit you? (even if its hardly anything)

Something is better than nothing.

Those rewards are insulting.  Yeah, it's nice they're offering free stuff, but this really is laughable. Take a look at Club Nintendo. I've gotten a ton a stuff shipped freely. I got a very well done free Mario Bros. figurine just for buying Nintendo stuff. I got a free Legend of Zelda poster just for buying and registering Nintendo stuff. M$ gives us 13 cents. Thanks.

If you're going to give stuff away, then give stuff away. This is just an insult. NOTE: I'm certainly not a nintendo fanboy, I have an X360 and I am not biased. I play the 360 a lot, I do enjoy you play gow, ninja gaiden, mass effect, street fighter batman: aa, dead space, etc. on my X360. Only an X360 fan would find those rewards awesome. This is just silly.

Microsoft can keep there silly rewards. 13cents a month wipdeedo

Sorry for bad English.

Yay, you get prizes for spending money at their store. Hmm, if only you could have saved that money to buy something that you liekd rather than a potentially sucky gift they're going to give you.

Just liked Credit Card rewards programs. YAYYYY BONUS REWARDS!!! I spent 1500 bucks where's my rewards....oh shit now I have to pay 18% interest back.

This doesn't make any sense though...

Nobody's forcing you to buy anything...you don't want it, don't buy it, no problem.  IF you do want it, and were going to anyway, then you get rewards for it.

How is this a "losing" situation for anyone?

It isn't if you planned on buying that stuff anyways. I just find it to be funny that there are people out there who will spend there money on this stuff just because there are rewards attached to them. Though they completely forget (like in the credit card example) that they have to pay back interest. or that they off-set something else they could have bought with something potentially suck

You only have to pay interest on the credit card if you're stupid and get more than you have to pay off at the end of the month.  For those that do pay it off, you can get sweet benefits.  Let's say you spend $20,000 on your discover card in one year.  You get 1% back on that and can apply it all towards your bill.  That will only cost you $19,800.  It's $200 for free...

Money can't buy happiness. Just video games, which make me happy.

Hmm, I'd rather get points that I can spend on something I want than some stupid figurine that will get tossed in my closet.

So because Nintendo gives you rewards you really like, Microsofts rewards are insulting?  Jesus, grow up.

Personally, I think the program is a great idea and that extra little 100-150 points could be the difference in my getting a game and not getting a game.  Pretty often it's the case that I have 200-300 points left over and with that little boost, that's enough to get me a game.  I don't think anyone is trying to sell this as the best rewards program ever, but it's hardly insulting and definately better than nothing.

My only complaint is it doesn't take into acount any sort of loyalty.  Think how awesome it would be if they gave every Gold member who has had a Gold membership before this 10 points for every month they've subscribed?  Even 5 for every month wouldn't be bad.

Yes, it's insulting, M$ basically gives nothing.  Comparing to what Nintendo rewards us, it's much better than just a few pennies. Btw, you are the one who must grow up.

I think the way you responded, pretty much proves you're the one who's lacks maturity. :(-<------():

1) It's not pennies, it's dollars (which still isn't a lot but it's a significant difference) and 2) not everyone thinks the stuff from Nintendo is worthwhile.

I think Club Nintendo does give cool stuff but it's beyond worthless to me because I don't want crap cluttering up my home.  I already have plenty.

Just because you don't care about saving dollars or even pennies (by the way, why do people shop at Wal-Mart?) doesn't make the rewards program worthless.

Its pennies over here  :)
