Forums - Sales Discussion - Sales dosen't reflect demand? Why is that?

Sure its just apiece of the cake, although 1/5 of the population. And the site also write that this was prior to the $500m advert launch made by Microsoft. But is that it? Or why is it that theres a higher demand for SONY's products among this market segment than the 360, but sales dosen't reflect it at all when it comes to US numbers?

Says a lot about those "statistics". 50 people isn't a good enough sample size. They probably need at least 100K to truly have a representative sample.

"WAR is a racket. It always has been.

It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives"---Maj. Gen. Smedley Butler

where did it say 50 people? To me it looks like they said 1/5th of the population which would be a good 70k wouldn't it?

Kids want PS3's, but parents can't afford them because of the recession, so they get them a Wii instead which they can also use to get fit with.

Finally, we know why this gen turned out the way it did.

in b4 ban.

Anything over 2000 is considered an accurate, representative sample. 100k is asking a little much

Fixed it.  It all depends on how the sample is chosen
