Its interesting to note that these "dipplomats" are probably some brutal murder and puppet string pullers themselves caring nothing for the lives of thousands, infrastructure or countries they need to affect.

What about the thousands of pepole their acts will save?

What about the thousands of people whose deaths were covered by the US government and it's diplomats?

...what about it?

Would knowing about it change the fact that they died? nope.

Bet with Dr.A.Peter.Nintendo that Super Mario Galaxy 2 won't sell 15 million copies up to six months after it's release, the winner will get Avatar control for a week and signature control for a month.

Great... now the terrorists know the Netherlands has nuclear weapons... plan A: let's steal them, Plan B: let's blow them up...  Plan C: wait, let's steal the Belgium ones.... >_<"

Well, the Dutch government should've known better about having them.

Among the first batch of dirty laundry coming out:

http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2010/nov/28/us-embassy-cables-spying-un

Basically, Hillary Clinton ordered American diplomats to comprehensively spy on top UN staff from other countries (including those countries' top diplomats).

What's wrong with that? Only idiot would miss a chance to find out negotiation instructions of other sides.

So you think it's right to steal their dna, fingerprints, credit card numbers, email passwords, etc... ?

Of course - that's why all the espionage agencies were created.

The US government has been violating US laws for decades.  It has been abusing nations around for world for just as long.  Since the US government refuses to follow US or international law and these actions are totally non-violent, maybe they will be good if they help keep the US government in check since almost nothing else seems to work.  Maybe the entire world will be better off because of this.

. Of course since we citizens have basically zero power to control government anymore, the UN can.

Are you serious?

What can the UN do to the united states, if it can't even do anything to... anyone?

1

UN = USA best friend

Well, the UN was created by the US and it's allies at the time to help increase their power in the world and that has continued to work out well.  It isn't the most effective or efficient organization, that's for sure, but it can do some things.  But yes, they often tend to favor the nations that created it and still have lots of power in it.

Nevertheless, the US government is out of control and these releases may help with that a little.

what makes you say that?

The US is by far the most powerful nation on earth.  It has a Constitution which includes a Bill of Rights which is designed to limit federal power but the federal government often ignores the Constitution and violates rights inside the US.  The US federal government tends to treat people outside the US even worse, killing them at will for any reason, known and unknown.  The US has military bases in what, 150 nations around the world or something and does whatever it wants and no one tries to stop it.  A little push back against the US isn't a bad thing.

Wikileaks?

Weaksauce-leaks more like.

Spying on/at the UN, the Arabs dislike Iran, North Korea annoys China, the french sell tech to China, China hacks, Russia has links to Russian organised crime.

If I didn't know better I'd think this was a US setup like the Iranians think (and China probably has their suspicions too).

The only real suprise is that the Arabs want to 'bomb, bomb, bomb Iran' more than the US does and that's not a complete shock.

I was hoping to hear about the dodgy deal behind the release of the Libyan mass murderer, instead we hear Gaddafi has a buxom Ukranian nurse that accompanies him everywhere.

Pathetic.

Less than 0.1% of the leaked documents have come out so far.
