Wtf i've already downloaded this patch ? O_o , i've got the Signature edition and its 113 MB and the load times are faster than the ones i've seen online , also there is minimal damage in arcade mode.
did it release for UK versions early?
PS : i've got the game (and the Sly Collection) about 4 hours ago, love it! , sue me! >:(
If it's version 1.01, I have it downloaded, too. Either they released it early, or this is a completely different patch.

That's the patch that unlocked the online features I believe, not the one they're talking about here.
Add damage to Arcade mode? There already is damage, at least in 2 player mode, I saw some pretty heavy dents in our cars when we were tearing it up last night. Granted, the damage isn't actually any good and seems more like a gimmick that anything else, to be honest.
GT5 damage is thebest ever seen in a game
it is just that it is progressive as you level up and thats why most reviewers are bashing as they rushed their reviews, never played the full game and never witnessed the best damage on offer
After all these years they are still tinkering with bugs and performance issues? Either the PS3 is real bitch to work with or these developers suck at working with PS3.

Progressive. Its non-existant in the early career racing. I can drive around ramming people out of thre way with no problem. Cut in on a corner, smash them out of the way and win the race.
yeah they kept it that way
to reward you along the way
believe me when you see the damage further you level up it is like reality and i'm not hyping anything here jsut telling what i myself have witnessed

Yeah, the damage system thus far is the least impressive feature in the game for me.
