Is your PS3 still under warranty?

nope almost 3 years old :( , but i dont care as long as they can fix it and it doesnt cost me a fortune.

$150 for out of warranty repairs from Sony I believe.

I'm opting for a new slim myself. My poor launch PS3 was killed by Metal Of Honor and sadly an attempt a repair didn't do a thing. *sigh* All the unsynced trophies and unbacked up saves...

All my progress in Final Fantasy XIII and Valkyria Chronices went right out the window.

buying a new ps3 its not an option sadly, consoles cost a fortune down here, its like if you were paying 1800 dollars for your ps3. So if they cant fix it, bye bye hd gaming for the next 2 years or so. Actually the ps3 slim cots more than the fat one, because its the new thing.
