Capcom currently has RE5, DMC4, SF4, and a bunch of new IPs coming out as 360/PS3 multiplats, but no major Wii projects other than Monster Hunter 3, Z&W2 and a port of Okami announced.

It's pretty much obvious that at least one of those is going to end up on the Wii, but other than that it's pure guesswork. My guess is that they'll ditch the HD version of RE5 and make it a Wii exclusive. Out of the three it's clearly the furthest from completion (least amount of wasted work), the gameplay is almost certain to include absolutely nothing that wouldn't run on the Wii if you put it in SD, and there's ample evidence that people would buy it (sales of RE4 port). They might make it a Wii/360 and/or PS3 multiplat as well, but they've got plenty of games on the HD consoles already, and making the same game in both SD and HD would probably be a lot of trouble.

It probably won't come, but it'd be a huge cash in for Capcom if they did bring it over. I really don't mind if they used the RE4 engine for it, I just want it on Wii haha.

Hmm, I apologize for the cat bomb then (I thought you were just too stupid to search-- no offense, I generally go for the simplest answer first). I suppose I'll just have to say that this will never happen. I have reasons and if I'm coherent enough when I'm done tonight and have time to type them out I will gladly type them out.

I, too, believe that it won't happen but is it bad to try? Do we lose something by dedicating a minute of our time? And as i previously said this might motivate Capcom to create an original RE4-like game for the Wii.

There Will de a other RE game on the Wii, with more then 1 mill selling of a simple 2 year old port. Capcom must be runned by mokeys if they don't do anything with that potential

I'm just hoping it will not be an port of RE5 let the game be on xbox and PS3 in full glory and don't make a half retarted clone of it for the Wii. And if RE5 fials then RE6 can come to the Wii.

The other option is that capcom ditches the RE5 work till now into the trash and begins making it agian for the Wii from scratch.
It would just rock... if only capcom has had some more faith in nintendo new console about a year ago
