I've thinking about buying this game, since it will be on sale on black friday. I heard that it is a lot like Burnout (which I love).

It's current rating at Metacritic is 88, which is very good, however, it has negative comments that make skeptic towards 

the game.

If anyone has played, I would like to know your opinion or comments about it.

I will be renting it sometime in December, but I guess that is after Black Friday!

i played the demo and i actually liked it but i doubt i will be getting it as i will be gettin GT5

If you have friends who will buy the game on the same console, get it, because the Autolog feature is very addicting.

If you only get it for offline play, I hope you'll get a good deal, because I for one don't like it as much as NFS Shift.

Destroying some bad guys is cool, the races are good (though could be better), but there are quite a lot of time trials (which I totally loved in Most Wanted btw. but here they seem a bit repetive and boring)

well i'm getting it on the PS3 as soon as i can find it a bit cheaper so if anyone is on the PS3 add me or let me know your psn so i can have lots of challenges

I believe most people will just wait till Black Friday to buy / play the game.  I know I am.  

But then again...GT5 is SUPPOSED to be coming out next week....right??? 

I played it for about 2/3 hours at the PC version, my first impression is very good, yes it has many similarities to burnout but maybe I like NFSHP even more, that's because while burnout was all about going ultra-high speed and avoiding the traffic, this game mixes some of these elements whith more traditional arcade racing skills, also the "takedown" system has got better, now you and your opponents have lifebar and you can also use some weapons.

Played it to death after 2 days. It's great - the online Hot Pursuits are some of the most fun I've ever had on a racing game. But I am disappointed at the lack of splitscreen multiplayer... but that's all.
