and i thought the car manufactures didn't allow real car damage
because people will start thinking that some cars are the best "crash cars".

Why post that?

good but for the moment :

no car damage, no weather, no night, not even online until the 25th/12/07

well, I need to watch the intro again, I love it :)))

Time to Work !

@libellule

The point of having online before it comes out is what?

I thought that was usually the case with manufactures not allowing for damage, but it appears that the developers did something to get the manufacturers to allow it.

One of the reasons car damage was never included before or to date has to due with the license to use the car, from my understanding game companies buy them from the car companies while GT was given the rights to use the cars aslong as they were maintained to perfection.

I mean :

GT5 prologue dont have online BEFORE the 25th/12/07

If u buy GT5pro NOW, u cannot play online ...

Isn't it not coming out for another week (in the US) anyway? If so, then that's only like another 5 days or so without online.

This isn't really wrong.  Manufacturers license the cars to the game, and I believe they have to pay extra to do damage modeling and can only do it within limits. For example, you cannot license these cars in a driving simulator and then start having them flip over.  Most manufacturers will not allow it.

I hope GT5 comes out before I choose between a PS3 and a 360.
