Can u elaborate? |
Writing a prequel coherent with the successive events told in the previous movies is a heavy constraint, that makes the prequel narration flow less freely and naturally. The efforts to follow a "canon" in events that must also be logically and causally coherent with successive ones already told, well known and not changeable anymore often create the pedantic sensation and to top it all, despite all the efforts, incongruities always lurk. And BTW, was Jar-Jar supposed to be amusing? :-@
About the new Deus Ex, I'm half sceptic, I guess it will be better than the dumbed down Invisible Wars, but worse than the original.
My most wanted game for 2011! It really has the Deus Ex vibe and I love how the developers are treating the franchise. If the game delivers on everything that's promised this will be the RPG of this gen.
If you're still sceptical after this trailer you have no heart: http://www.gametrailers.com/video/penetrate-the-deus-ex/707555
I still fear they're going to screw it up, but at least all they've shown so far doesn't make it outright terrible. It's a good sign, maybe it'll end up being good. Usually games like this get simplified a bit (or actually two) too much because of consoles.
