Furai no Shiren 3 (Wii / Sega / February 28th 2008 Release)
- There will be "trap floors" that restrict your actions (ex. floors that restrict your from using staves, and floors that restrict you from using scrolls)
- How item / tool upgrades work:
1. First your have to find a special kind of floor called "Ryumyaku" (dragon's pulse), and place an item on it. The Ryumyakus have elemental attributes and how your item changes is based on the Ryumyaku's element.
2. Once you place an item on the Ryumyaku, you have to use a "scroll of barrier" and create a barrier that surrounds the Ryumyaku.
3. You can break the barrier whenever you want, or have a monster walk into which will break it as well. After the barrier breaks, you can pick up your upgraded item.

Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G (PSP / Capcom / March 13th 2008 Release)
Information on Narugakuruga (no idea what the English name is)
It has extremely sensitive hearing, blade shaped wings, an extremely tough tail, and is very agile and aggressive!
- In a special project between Famitsu and MHP2nd called "In search of the ultimate Gunlance!", we worked on the development of a Famitsu exclusive "ultimate Gunlance!"

About Character Data Transfers
1. All the data on your "guild card" can be transferred for use anywhere outside of the training grounds.
2. All "accessories" on your equipment will be removed and placed in your item box. Some equipment will have different skill requirements than before.
3. All completed quest information, the state of your Airuu Kitchen and your Farm, your insignias (?) and titles can be transferred. Also, the item box can now hold up to 800 items in its beginning state.
4. Part of the gallery, and some downloaded quests from Monster Hunter 2nd cannot be transferred.
5. You will be able to take your character and start a new game on 2ndG. You will be able to change your sex, name and appearance, and all items with a rarity of 1-3 will be transferred to your new game. All items above rarity 4 will be turned into money and a part of the money will be given to you at the start of the game.

Comment: I am surprised that Card Hero get 36/40, Patapon for PSP and FF4 is looking good too, at 35/40 each... Also, a surprisingly amount of Wii and DS news, and 1 PSP news regarding Monster Hunter 2nd G. All the games sounds interesting, but...

Edit: Also, some of the posters find AWAY to sound similar to Dark Cloud? Any takers? I never played that game before, so...

P.S. Also, this better not become a duplicate. No guarantee on the accuracy since I am not a gaffer, I just found the thread there.

There was a pretty much a crapload of false info sent through the net courtesy of a neogaf hoax. There's several threads posted here already based on the hoax, and a few reputable sites falling for it too. They calimed it was fro mFamitsu, but none of it was real.

So wait...does this mean the GT5 prologue scores were also a hoax?

EDIT: Apparently it stemmed from a Japanese blog, the guy wanted to pwn westerners looking for Famitsu info. Mr. Syobonta, you sir are an asshole.

Tag - "No trolling on my watch!"

Yes, Claude, GT5P scores were a hoax.

Btw, I am not 100% sure on how real this is, although posters at the original source seem to be fairly certain, but who knows. Take everything on the Internet with a grain of salt, or whatever the saying was.

Everything in the earlier post was false. Some Japanese at 2chan wanted to prank GAFers so they released a fake Famitsu coverage report. And the GAFers fell for it. Hook, line, and sinker. This is the real Famitsu update. Really boring if you ask me.

feel free to add me whenever (just PM me to let me know)

Actually the AWAY ARPG sounds to have potential, although delivery is definitely not assured at this stage. Our Videogames Exams sounds like Wario Ware and Petit Eva sounds one of those data-sims except controlled by mini-games... I could be wrong there though. We, and by we I mean me, already hear about the other 2 games before.

Wait... Petit EVA... A mini-games based on Evangelion? Eh... well... who knows, some fans might like it?
