so pokemon diamond/pearl came out on top this year (over 7 million sold this year, sorry halo 3) but what about next year? wiifit? brawl? MGS4? GT5? mariokart? GTA IV? these are the obvious cantidates. looking at history, GT5 would be a good bet, but the smaller ps3 userbase and probability of it being released quite late in the year would make it difficult. wiifit is a real wildcard. it could go either way, but if the early sales in japan are any indication, the game be a sizable hit. however, being such a different kind of game, its hard to predict where it will end up sales wise. MGS4 will sell the least out of all of them IMO. i think it will be between MKwii and smash bros. the mariokart name alone is a guaranteed 5 million sales and the series popularity seems to be at full steam, but SSBB has alot of hype behind it. i can't choose between these two and GTA IV. what do you all think? EDIT: now with more GTA :)
