Man, you Lakers fans are sure spoiled. Ha ha. Kobe and Pau on the same team? That's almost unfair to the rest of the league. The thing that's really scary is that in my opinion, your team is better than last years dominant team.
Can't you just let my Jazz win a series with you in the playoffs? (-: You guys are a huge roadblock for everyone I guess. I'd rather you win it than the Heat though.

How about a top 5 PGs list? This is mine. Share yours.
1. Deron Williams
2. Chris Paul
3. Rajon Rondo
4. Steve Nash
5. Russell Westbrook
That list was pretty tough to put together. There were a lot of names that you could make an argument for namely Derrick Rose, Tony Parker, and to a lesser extent Stephen Curry. I put Westbrook slightly above Rose because he's a better defender and a great rebounder. Honestly it could go either way, but I had to choose. I think this might be the most talented group of PGs ever assembled in the NBA. Top to Bottom there is loads of talent. What do you think?

Well we're just going to have to agree to disagree aren't we? I find it hard to believe that in the span of six years the best player the Cavs managing to acquire was either Mo Williams, a 34 year old Jamison and a 38 year old Shaq and this, to you, translates to constant upgrades and the front office doing a great job. Upgrading from a poor player to a slightly better, but still poor player, isn't a good trade, because you've still got awful players. |
Yes, i guess we're going to have to disagree that making the best moves possible to upgrade your team doesn't translate into constant upgrades because...
I dunno... why? But you think so.
I mean, that's pretty much how it goes for most of the people and teams in the league.
Look at the Nuggets. They started out with more, and improved less.
Or for that matter... the heat before they got Lebron and Wade. Also did worse.
You aren't going to build a "super" team unless you get a couple really good low lottery draft picks in a row...(top 5 usually) or are at the right time at the right place with expirings.
See the Spurs. Why did they become such a great team? They fell into Tim Duncan.
All those years growing up without a professional sports team...
Let's get another win against Portland tonight baby! Thunder up!

PG really is awkward, there are so many things to gauge when you're considering who's the best; personally, I'm gonna say that a PG for me should be a creator first and a scorer second. I find it hard to rate someone like Nash in my top five because of his defensive issues. Ah well, here we go:
1. Rondo
2. Paul
3. Williams
4. Kidd
5. Rose
If John Wall continues playing like this it won't be long before he's on this list!
