I'm a huge basketball fan! I am a Los Angeles Clippers fan so yeah I've had a really rough time staying positive lately... Hopefully Eric Gordon will come back soon so the team can at least become watchable again, but the Clipper curse appears to be strong again this year.

The hate for Miami really is quite funny; LeBron no doubt handled the situation terribly but it was well within his right to leave an awfully managed Cleveland team. I'm sure he got sick of making Mike Brown look like an above average coach, and after Dan Gilbert's comments, his decision was all the more vindicated.

I'm glad people are "hating" and looking at miami more now, because wade is so underrated, it's not even funny, I hate how the nba and espn and fox sports.. etc.. would constanly praise lebron and kobe as if they were the only good players in the league, when the guy with the highest PPG average last year was DWAYNE WADE, and so far, he's the 3rd best scorer in the league despite having two huge point forwards

Kevin Durant won the scoring title last year.  Lebron was second.  Not sure where you are getting Wade from, unless PPG doesn't stand for "Points Per Game".

But I do like Wade, not trying to bash....just saying....

Edit:  Reference for above comment - http://espn.go.com/nba/statistics/player/_/stat/scoring-per-game/sort/avgPoints/year/2010/seasontype/2  Looks like Wade was 5th.

I firmly agree D-Wade is underrated, in my opinion he's every bit as good as Kobe, but purely from an ability standpoint no player in the league can match what LeBron does night in night out. Of course, every big player on the Miami team will suffer statistically, but once that team gets going I'm not sure who's going to be able to stop them. They've been shredded by fantastic point guards this season, but I can't see Erik Spoelstra not allowing Wade or LeBron to take over defensive duties in the playoffs if they come up against the Celtics.

Tonight's game will certainly be interesting; Boston are as good as anyone when they want to be, but it remains to be seen if they can keep that intensity up consistently. They played that home opener like it was game 7 of the finals. It's just a shame they didn't show the same intensity in the actual game 7.

I love the NBA.  Big Jazz fan.  I was surprised to see any interest in my Jazz.  I'm from Utah so with only the one professional team in any sport I'm a huge fan.  I like what OKC has going on even though they are in our division.  KD and Westbrook will only get better together.  Westbrook is already a top 5 PG in my opinion.  His length and athleticism makes him tough to gaurd.

To the Clippers fan, I love watching Blake Griffin.  I mean the guy is a man amongst men already in his young career.  He's freaky athletic and has decent touch on his shot.  He's a legit 20/10 guy already as a rookie.  You really have something special there.  I don't understand why they don't utilize him more in the offense and run sets for him.  They'd have probably beaten the Jazz if they had.

Did anyone else see the ending to the Heat - Jazz game?  That had to be the craziest ending to a game I've ever seen.  Glad Jazz came out on top, but that goes to prove that you've gotta have a little luck mixed in with good play to get the W sometimes.  Good thread btw.

Oh and just out of curiosity.  Are there many Jazz fans outside of Utah?  I've always been under the impression that the answer was no.  How do non-Jazz fans view them?

I wouldn't say Wade is underrated maybe underappreciated but everyone knows he's a top 5 player in the NBA. The most underrated players currently are probably Monta Ellis, Rajon Rondo, Brandon Roy, and Russell Westbrook. Deron Williams is another guy that gets overlooked pretty often and it's totally ridiculous that last year was his first year as an All-Star.

If Paul Millsap hitting three threes in the last 30 seconds is a 'little' luck I'd hate to see what happens when your boys get very lucky haha.

About time !!!

Anyways I'm a big Blazers fan. Used to be a big Suns fan until they lost Amare. I would definetely be lieing if I said that I'm not a Miami fan. I am. A big one. People can hate on Lebron all they want but I see no problem with him teaming up with Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh. I truly believe they'll win a championship IF they get a proper C and PG.

Who's the best Pac, Nas, and Big. Just leave it to that.

They don't even really need a proper PG with Wade and Lebron on the team. If they had a knockdown 3pt shooting PG that plays solid defense it would be enough for them. They definitely need a true inside presence in the paint though because Joel Anthony and Big Z aren't going to get it done in the playoffs against the likes of Pau or Dwight.
