In case you played Eyetoy back in the time, could you make us a comparison of your own experience between both devices?

I'm not talking about tech, motion recognition or whatever. Just the fun and pure entertainment element you can get out of both cameras.

I didn't play any of the PS2 Eyetoy games, sorry.  The only EyeToy games I've played are Eye of Judgment and Sports Champions (or whatever the Move sports game was called) and they are all three completely different experiences.

The "play disc" command, is that only for playing a game from the actual disc or can you set it up to play of the HDD using the same command?

It plays the game from the HDD if you have it installed.

My favorite moment so far was when I played an online game of table tennis.  Me and the my oppenent had voice chat turned off, but we still taunted each other with our bodies.  He would do pelvic thrusts after slamming on me, and I would taunt him before I served the ball.  Really fantastic, fun, and unique experience for me.  Never thought about that aspect of Kinect before, that what you see someone's avatar do in the game, is what they are doing in their real life.  Might be silly to some, but it was pretty surreal to me.

guess you'll just have to settle with doing the motion where you pretend like you have someone bent over and your smacking their ass. or teabagging although I don't know how your opponent would interpret you crouching up and down over and over again.

This is so cool. Just imagine the things that people are going to come up with.

Yeah, it was neat.  I would do the "bring it on" hand movements when he was about to serve and such to taunt him.  And at one point both of us just started dancing.  He was doing the robot and I was attempting to moonwalk.  Crazy moment between two randoms on Live.  I gave the guy the finger at one point, but it just looked like I was telling him to stop or "talk to the hand".  It got intense at one point and I noticed right before I was serving to him, he would get into a ready stance and bend over a little bit and spread his legs, ready to return the serve.  You guys should definitely give it a go, it was pretty wild.

Is that the only time you had this type of thing happen? I'd probably be trying to egg people on just for shits and giggles. Lol, talk to the hand, I picture the gay stripper in Terminator 3.
