I honestly don't care much about this since Kojima isn't heavily involved. I will still buy it but meh.

i feel the same why u feel , since kojima san isnt much involved in this game, iam kind of half hearted about it.

apparently he was suppose to reveled his big exclusive last TGS, but no word came about it. i suppose he will revel it 2011 E3

Should make a nice Wii 2 launch game. ;)

I was more excited about this, until I played peace walker. Because I didn't like the past two metal gear solid's (3,4) as much as the first two. And thought this might bring a breath of fresh air so to speak (it still might) but after playing PW I wish Kojima was more involved because that was plenty fresh imo.

Also, they took the raiden from 4  for rising which was the one I didn't like as much :-/ I felt mgs4 raiden became a piece of fanservice instead of a good albeit too whiney character. But hopefully this will explain it well and I will like him more in 4. :P /ends rant

That leaves Metal Gear Solid 3DS and other potential re-releases for 2011.

2011 is stacked as it is...so no objections here. Still, I can't wait to see more gameplay.

Snake Eater 3D was already confirmed for "spring 2011".  It should come pretty quick after launch.

Delay if forever for all I care. I don't want to see MGS turn into some crappy action game.

I'll wait for Kotaku to actually provide a source for this information before I take it at face value.
