Forums - Sales Discussion - Sony CEO: PS3 Sales in Europe Now 200,000 Per Week

Not only are PlayStation 3 sales up in the U.S., but according to Sony Chief Executive Howard Stringer, sales of the console in Europe are now up to an impressive 200,000 per week. He said PS3 sales in Japan are around 40,000 to 50,000 each week. Sony's goal is to sell 11 million PS3s by the end of its fiscal year on March 31, but Chief Financial Officer Nobuyuki Oneda admitted back in October that the company could miss its target.
