it is. As i said, Blood stone is a consolation prize for HD owners for not getting GE and is not very good at it. Activision thought it was gonna ride on GE ads, and it worked to some extent,but not that much.

Believe me, if europe sales of GE were around 50k, a good number as it is(since RE opened with 14k or so), US sales are around 50-70k.  The overall results are pretty satisfiying, and the season will only drive this further.

Why would US be just slightly higher? Pre-Orders were higher than that.

The Nightclub map does seem out of place but I think it's the most fair map though. It's pain in the ass during the single player because it's so dark but one of my favorites online. The map I dislike the most is the Sewer map. I thought Memorial was the one I disliked the most but didn't realize I had played them all save the sewer map. That one is to dark.

Well on a major point we did come to an agreement anyway.

As for my part, the game is on my Christmas list (budget gamer, so can't just grab a major release anytime).

So 96,735 for Americas. Not spectacular, but still solid. Plus as far as I can tell, it's the largest opening for a Wii FPS since Red Steel 1. It also outsold both versions of Blood Stone 2:1, but aside from the lack of hype among the gaming press, that game has almost zilch in marketing, while this game actually had some.

So it really shows what happens when a) a system gets the major game and another gets the minor, and b) only one gets any real marketing.
