You do write too much... I sorta just read every other word. I don't feel like debating innovation or significance. You're also going on tangent. Lets just move on.

All I learned is you're not a big fan of the Kinect.

To be fair, I don't like any of the motion controls, I've given similar criticisms to the Wii and Move, I just find far more people going crazy over Kinect, claiming that it's going to be a super revolution in gaming and we should all bow to the creative minds of Microsoft, which means I tend to argue against the Kinect far more.

Well I often say people should bow to MS and sacrifice virgins over a 360. So I kinda understand your tirade.

Is people being intrigued by the Kinect really a problem? Don't let it get you down champ.

The biggest day in gaming was July 15, 1983 when Nintendo launched the Famicom. That is what eventually revived the industry after the video game crash of 1983. A lot of you weren't even born yet so you wouldn't really understand the impact of said console or how the international versions, the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) for example, were well received. But that is what brought home console gaming back from the brink and should be recognized for what it was.

Inspite of what the MS hype machine may have you believe the Kinect is just an add in a currently thriving gaming industry. Still, I hope it will do well and push gaming to greater limits.

Not to sound like a troll but before Kinect was the PS Eye and wayyy before that there was Sega's thing which i dont remember whats it called.

Oh right. I forgot about the Sega Circle thing you put on the ground and stand in the middle of. When you reach your hand over the line of the circle it would register as an action. That was pretty cool back then, though limited in a way.

Simple Answer: Hell No.
