The problem with core games utilizing Kinect is that the add on uses 10 to 15% of the 360s processing power. It will come at the cost of a game's overall performance and developers will have to think of ways to compensate for this. Still, hybrid games are very possible and it should be interesting to see how they pan out over time.

The other problem is will game developers develop for kinect?? if you make a game for kinect you make the game an xbox exclusive, imho i dont think developers going to ignore the 150 mil combined wii and ps3 users for potenital sales so they can develop exclusivly for the 360.

so my point is that these hybrid controls are a problem, because they're no significant way of implementing them at the moment, and i dont think developers will take the risk trying to.

The process use of Kinect is single digits. That means it is 9 or less percent.
